If you would like to remix Obscure Descension, there are a few things to cover. By downloading the Obscure Descension remix kits, you agree to the following...

  • Register for a free ObscureDescension.com account to gain access to all Obscure Descension remix kits. (It's really easy)
     
  • Any and all audio material remains copyright and intellectual property of Obscure Descension. This includes your final remix derived from data/samples originated by Obscure Descension. You may not redistribute or use for any other purpose any audio material provided by Obscure Descension or this website unless special permission is granted in writing by Obscure Descension.
     
  • You may not include any samples or other audio material which may infringe the copyright of others. If your submission is found to include such material, it will be disqualified. In the event of your submission winning the competition and being released, you will be held liable for any legal action arising from claims by other copyright holders.
     
  • There is no payment is offered for remixes. If chosen for release, the remixer will have no claim to any royalties arising from sales of the album. However, some free copies of the CD will be provided. Obscure Descension hopes to help artists gain exposure by posting/releasing their remixes.
     
  • All submissions WILL be reviewed. Obscure Descension will try to send a confirmation email when your remix has been received. Unfortunately, due to time constraints, feedback regarding your submission cannot be garaunteed.
     
  • The remixer will be notified by email if chosen for release or posted on ObscureDescension.com.
     
  • Your actual remix should be at least 16bit, 44.1khz audio, .wav or .aiff and NOT MASTERED. However, remix submissions will ONLY be accepted in MP3 192kbps format. If your remix is chosen for release on CD, You will be contacted to request a high-resolution file for mastering.
     
  • Remixes must be submitted by email to remix@obscuredescension.com (via yousendit.com or similar service).
     
  • Please include ONLY your artist name, email address, and contact info with your submission.
